My girlfriend has had a couple of pap tests come back with abnormal cells and her doc told her she has HPV. It may well be a coincidence but a couple of days ago my foot started hurting real bad and I noticed I have a plantar wart on the heel of my foot. Reading about HPV I see that it can trigger warts to form. My question is if it is related to my plantar wart, how could it spread all of the way down there and am I at risk of obtaining genital warts? Thanks.
