All current methods of removing plantar warts are debatable when it comes to success rate.
In as far as medical terminologies are concerned; plantar wart is
just one of the ailments that plague the feet. The disease is caused
by a virus which eats into the feet and causes dead cells. The dead
cells protrude in a yellowish swelling at the bottom of the
feet. Removing plantar warts can be a tiresome event. This is because
of inefficient method of treatment. Similarly, its location makes the
whole treatment procedure more complex. It is rather difficult to
apply medication on critical places such as the feet which are needed
for use in more than twelve hours that you are not sleeping.
Plantar wart causes extreme uneasiness when walking and at time
they can be painful. The occurrence of plantar wart can be biased to
one foot or both. There are some rumors that they can occur in other
parts of the body; well, I can' confirm that but what you should know
is that there are more than one way of removing plantar
warts. Removing plantar warts must go all the way to removing the
virus that causes the condition. Partial treatment of one and leaving
the other is just an effortless work. This is because the virus has
advanced adaptations that it can maintain dormancy for more than two
years and recur in later stages of life. The rate of infection also
differs from person to person; studies show that children have intense
cases of plantar warts.
Either way, there are still some procedures than have been
medically described to removing of plantar warts. There is use of duct
tapes (D-T), cryotherapy and natural methods. The effectiveness of
each is different. D-T is highly rated for its effectiveness in
clearing plantar warts. Cryotherapy is a rather fast method but, has
its shortcoming in expensiveness and less chances of
accomplishment. Removing plantar warts should be a first priority once
you get a hint of infection. This will help prevent further spread on
the whole feet or to the other uninfected leg.
It is possible to live a plantar wart worriless life. This is by
adhering to strict personal hygiene. For example, regular showers,
covering your feet when walking in probably contaminated areas. Avoid
walking in bare foot or open sandals when in wet places. In case there
is a diagnosis of plantar warts, consult with your physician on the
various methods of removing plantar warts before implementing of
any.
