My girlfriend has had several pap tests come back with abnormal cells and her doc told her she has HPV. It may possibly be a coincidence but several days ago my foot began hurting real poor and I noticed I have a plantar wart on the heel of my foot. Reading about HPV I see that it can trigger warts to form. My question is if it is related to my plantar wart, how could it spread all the way down there and am I at risk of obtaining genital warts? Thanks.
