My girlfriend has had a few pap tests come back with abnormal cells and her doc told her she has HPV. It could be a coincidence but a couple of days ago my foot began hurting real poor and I noticed I have a plantar wart on the heel of my foot. Reading about HPV I see that it can cause warts to form. My question is if it's related to my plantar wart, how could it spread all the way down there and am I at risk of acquiring genital warts? Thanks.
